Anywhere, Anytime Work2fdsafdadsafdsa

In his article Visualizing the Future of Work, Justine Humphry mentioned the
office of the future in which with mobile technologies and flexible work design,
activities of work need no longer be bound to any particular place or time (352).
Many would agree that anywhere, anytime work will certainly improve our quality
of life because we can arrange our work more flexibly and get more time for our
private life. However, I would prefer a more balanced mixture of the office of the
future and the traditional mode of work.
In spite of the advantages of anywhere, anytime work, we will suffer from getting
much less face-to-face contact with other people, relying on communication
technologies to contact co-workers. When meeting other people in person, we
communicate not only by speech, but also with such important details as facial
expression, gesture, movements, etc. We not only enjoy the process, but also get
simulated through interaction with others, which can enhance both our productivity
and creativity. However, under traditional mode of work, we have to endure fixed
working time at a specific workplace. A balanced mixture, such as anywhere,
anytime work for a half day and then working in office on another half, may suffice.
