I am pleased to be able to write this letter of recommendation for Andrea Beckett. Andrea worked as a
part-time ECSE Preschool teacher and a part-time interventionist in our building this year.
Andrea has proven herself to be very dependable and punctual. She is flexible and willing to work
varied schedules. She works well with the entire team and is most cooperative with supervisory staff.
She creates lesson plans to achieve desired student learning objectives that reflect the current district
curriculum along with Michigan Early Childhood Standards and the students current IEP goals.
Andrea recognizes individual learning differences and differentiates her instruction to meet the student
needs.
Her interaction with the children is excellent. As you walk by her room, it is easily observable that
they are ALL having a good time and are in a learning environment. She is very natural and warm with
the children. Andrea has appropriate materials in all interest areas in her classroom to meet the
different skill levels of her students. Andrea has experience with and follows the curriculum guidelines
for incorporating activities to meet the Michigan Early Childhood Standards.
Based on her excellent work record, as well as her skills and interest in working with and teaching
children, I would readily accept Andrea for further employment. Therefore, I would highly
recommend Andrea Beckett for any teaching position you may have available.
