Wow!!! Last week was amazing! Let me tell you how proud I am!
You not only held a lot of meetings, but you showed that you
truly care for these students! You put in LONG hours, you
hunted documents, you listened to parents (angry, sad, hurt,
defensive), you suggested great resources, ideas, accommodations, classes, you asked for help when you werent sure, you
helped your teammates, you taught classes, you returned task
requests...as my daughter says, give yourself a round of applause! (insert actually circling around while applauding)

Just a couple of reminders:

Even if I cant get to your reviews, (because of the sheer numbers) you still need to submit IEPs on the tracker before the
IEP, update the tracker after, then send out the finalized IEP
when locked. If you have something that is a red flag, please
email me!
Back in July, you were told to go ahead and begin planning for your IEPs
through November and getting them on the schedule. A couple of
things to remember-especially for IEPs due in early-mid October: You
will have to hold an annual review in May for annuals that are held before October 2nd. Just keep that in mind as you are planning. Send out
those calendar invites as soon as you schedule the meeting.

Laurens last day is today before she begins her maternity leave...Baby ???? will be here on Wednesday!!! My vote
is BOY!!!!

We are calling this Verification Week

With all of the changes of not SE, is SE, is SLI only, needs SG,
doesnt need SG, changing caseloads for EBD students...it has
been a lot to keep up with. I have done my best, but with multiple places to have students between IC and TVS, I am very sure
that things are not 100% accurate. That being said, each morning this week (starting Tuesday) I will send you a survey link
with a task that needs to be completed that day. I have broken
the tasks down for 2 reasons-makes it easier for you and I to
manage, and helps keep it simple. The tasks should take you less
than 30 minutes each day-most should take about 10-15. Go
ahead and block off that 30 minute time slot Tuesday-Friday
when you want to complete these tasks.

Welcome Call Notes in IC (not TVS this year):

K12 is pulling reports from IC to see how many welcome calls we
are completing. I wanted to make sure you understood these
instructions. If you havent done this for your kiddos-please do
ASAP. I will be following up this week.

Go to the app switcher and choose Campus Tools
Typle in the students name and search
Go to PLP-General and you will see these options

Aug 28-I will be out of office from 10:30-2:30ish for my
meet and greet
Sept 7-NO SCHOOL-Labor Day
Sept 18-Out of Office most of day for Back to School
Event

In ES, we have split our ILP into part 1a and 1b. The first part is
truly just the welcome call, CFQ and setting up DIBELS/Math
probe. The 2nd part is adding that data to the ILP. So, if you
have a student that you have completed DIBELS/GRASP on, you
can begin adding that data, BUT THE DATE REMAINS THE
SAME OF THE WELCOME CALL!!! We no longer have to document this in TVS as in years passed. If you have attempted a
welcome call-you can put that date in with a note at the bottomattempted, left VM, kmailed and followed up with email.
