During FY 2014, Deutsche Banks Corporate Banking & Securities division has seen a significant
contraction in business revenues. However, the banks Sales & Trading desk remains a
strong revenue earner. The bank has requested Deloitte to compare its performance with
other leading banks on Sales & Trading business (both debt and equity products) to present
it with a summary of DBs Sales and Trading (Debt and Equity) results compared to a few key
competitors (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America).
Few areas to compare would include:

Comparing Overall Sales and Trading results for DB vs. peers


Comparing Sales and Trading (terminologies as below) for DB vs peers
Comparing Debt products for DB vs peers; explaining the key drivers for the industry
across this product i.e. was it increased volumes? Client activity? Prop trading?
Comparing Sales and Trading Equity, explaining the key drivers for the industry
across this product i.e. was it increased volumes? Client activity? Prop trading?
Summary slide which explains why DB did well compared to peers or where it needs
to improve
