Dear Principle,
It is my pleasure to present you with my resume. I am applying for a
teaching position here in the Kyrene School District. I will be graduating
in May 2016 from Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Elementary Education.
My resume will demonstrate and highlight my accomplishments as a
college student and educator. I have many years of experience working
with kids as an assistant teacher at San Marcos Elementary and at
Tutor Time. I am also bilingual; I fluently speak both Spanish and
English. I am currently student teaching in a 4th grade classroom at
Kyrene de la Paloma. Throughout this experience I have learned the
important of classroom management, improving students performance,
inspiring students interest, and effectively communicating and working
with colleagues. As an educator, my goal is to create a studentcentered classroom, meet the needs of my students, increase
students motivation, and implement problem-based learning.
In closing, I believe I would make a great contribution to your school
district and this experience will help me grow tremendously as an
