CREATION OF BASIC SPREADSHEET BY ENTERING TEXT


NUMBERS, AND PERFORMING FILTER FUNCTION

AIM:
To create a basic spreadsheet using MS-Excel by entering text, numbers and simple
formulae.
METHOD:
Selection using shortcuts and cursor operation.
PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Open a new spreadsheet in MS-Excel .
Step 2: Create a students database for five students and three subjects each.
Step 3: Perform filter operation by selecting the Cell Value( Selection)
Step 3.1: Select any cell with a value that has to be filtered. Now,
Right click

Step 4: Perform filter operation by selecting the font colour .


Step 4.1: Apply desired font colours. Now,
Right click on the desired colour

Step 5: Perform filter operation by selecting cell colour.


Step 5.1: Apply desired cell colours. Now,
Right click on the desired colour
Step 6: Perform find and replace operation.
Step 6.1: Click on find and replace icon, select the find tab and enter the value to be
found.
Step 6.2: Now select the replace tab and enter the replacement value.
Step 7: Save the spreadsheet.
