Thing 18

1. Analysis of Data
I used a Google Forms spreadsheet for my Extra Curricular Activities survey I created and
asked people to participate in. I like using spreadsheets because they are easy to use, very
organizational, and I also use it for my job on campus.
2. Sorting
Below I organized Column D alphabetically (A-Z). This makes it easier to see how many picked
the same answer, especially if you have a lot of responses.

3. Charting
This pie chart below is for Question #3 (What do you think stimulates brain activity more?) Pie
charts are good to visually show what information has been acquired and what the results are. It
also shows what the most common answer is and what to improve on and move on from.

4. Summary
Using Google Forms and Excel to create spreadsheets is easy and effective. This is time saving
and fast to use, especially when things need to be organized efficiently. I do not think students
will need to use spreadsheets in the classroom because their is no reason for them. I will use
them for things like music fundraisers, student surveys, and tests/quizzes.
