Tales of the Cocktail Announces Glass Recycling Initiative for 2015

In partnership with Phoenix Recycling, Tales of the Cocktail is proud to add glass recycling to
its list of green initiatives.

NEW ORLEANS, LA June 23, 2015 Tales of the Cocktail is proud to announce the
addition of glass recycling to its continued commitment to the environment. In partnering with
Phoenix Recycling, Tales of the Cocktail will be able to recycle an estimated 10,000 glass
liquor bottles that are used throughout the weeks festivities. Glass is one of the hardest materials
to recycle, but thanks to Phoenix Recycling, it has become possible for Tales of the Cocktail to
continue in its efforts to reduce its environmental footprint.

With the number of drinks that are served at Tales, you can imagine we go through a lot of
bottles. Close to 10,000 to be exact. Im so happy to finally be able to add glass recycling to our
list of green initiatives thanks to Phoenix Recycling, said Ann Tuennerman. Weve always
been committed to reducing waste through cup recycling, composting with Hollygrove market
and moving printed materials online. Keeping glass out of the landfill is just another way were
showing our love for New Orleans and the Earth.

Glass recycling is the latest initiative by Tales of the Cocktail to reduce waste. Since 2009, Tales
of the Cocktail has partnered with 360 Vodka to donate 30,000 pounds of produce to
Hollygrove farms for their compost program. Tales of the Cocktail also recycles close to 200,000
plastic sampling cups every year, recycles all cardboard and packaging materials and has moved
many of its printed items online.
