(b)How can Picasa be used in an educational setting?

As an educator I can use Picasa in the teaching of any Learning Area e.g. Natural
Sciences. I can create a Picasa album to teach about the animal kingdom. I will
create an album about the different animal classes, namely the Insects,
Arachnids, Reptiles, Birds, Amphibians and Fish. I will explain the animal
classes .I will show the learners an album of the different animal classes, while
explaining the body parts, body coverings and the habitat of each class on the
album .The learners must give examples of the different animal classes based on
the explanation .The learners must also compare the animal classes by giving
similarities and differences between the classes. I will assess the learners by
jumbling photos of the animal classes and their examples. The learners will
arrange them and put the correct example next to it.
