Problem
• Identifying research problem concern
or needs exists, problem specified,
problem justified, importance of
study stated.

selecting, summarizing literature.

• A researcher should determine


purpose statement, research
questions and or hyphoteses.
Collecting Data

• Selecting participants, permissions,


gathering information, ethical
considerations.
Analyzing and Interpreting
data

• Break down data, representing data


and explaining the data, forming
the conclusions.
• Often in results, findings, discussion
sections of study.
Reporting and Evaluating
research

• Consider, audience, structure of


report, sensitivity of writing,
assessing quality of study.
