LEVELS OF RECOGNITION FOR DONATIONS

1. BUY A SQUARE FOOT – a donation of $150 will purchase a square foot with
recognition of an Abbeyfield pin.

2. JOIN THE SQUARE METRE POSSE – a donation of $1500 will purchase a square
metre with recognition by deputizing you into the Square Metre Posse at a public
ceremony. This includes a badge, a button and your name or business on a plaque
in the House once construction is complete.
Note: The first Posse was formed to raise funds to purchase the building site.
Having completed this roundup a second Posse is being formed to complete
construction of Abbeyfield House High River.

3. SPONSOR A ROOM – a donation of $15,000 will purchase sponsorship of a room in

Abbeyfield House with recognition by displaying an appropriate plaque at the
entrance to the ‘sponsored’ room.

4. DONATE TIME AND/OR MATERIALS TO CONSTRUCTION – any donation of time

or materials that contribute to the construction process is possible. Recognition will
be provided by including donors (if they so wish) in update articles in the local
newspaper. Please contact Roland Devenoge, 333-7499 if you have an interest in
donating in this way.

5. DONATE TO PURCHASE A SPECIFIC ITEM OR AREA – a donation of items to

help furnish a specific area, such as chairs for the library or appliances for the
kitchen, will be gratefully accepted. Recognition will be provided by placing donors’
names (if they wish) in update articles in the local newspaper. Please contact

6. CORPORATE DONORS – corporate or large business donors will be recognized

with a public presentation of wall certificate, acknowledgement through radio and
newspaper articles and the company name listed in all Abbeyfield House marketing
materials at the following levels:
a) $100,000 Benefactor will be recognized in many ways – public presentation of
recognition certificate, and acknowledgment via radio and newspaper with
name of corporation listed in marketing materials.
b) $50,000 Advocate - public presentation of recognition certificate, and
acknowledgment via radio and newspaper with name of corporation listed in
marketing materials.
