- The cost of dental care is subsidised through the danish
health care system, the majority of the cost is paid by
you.
-Search for a dentist is to use the Dental Union Website.
-The health care system will pay
If you are over 25 years of age, you pay for 60% of the
costs.
If you are under the age of 18, you get free dental care
including ordontia.
Once you turn 18 to the age of 25, you will begin to
pay 35% of the dental fees.
Dental Hours
Normal hours are 8AM to 4PM, but that does not mean that the
dentist is always in. Many dentists have more than one office and
may alternate days between clinics.

Dental Care of Children
the age of 18 is free. This includes braces, oral surgery and
orthodontia.
Many schools have dentists assigned to their schools, who help
teach children how to take of their teeth and do routine exams.

FINLAND.
Reimbursements are available for the cost of dental and oral treatment
provided by a dentist in private practice
No reimbursement is available for the following items:
dental care obtained from public-sector providers
prosthetic procedures such as the manufacture or repair of
removable dentures
dental crowns, bridges or implants (exception: front-veterans and
mine clearance workers)
the services of a dental technician (exception: front-veterans and
mine clearance workers)
orthodontic procedures (can be reimbursed under special
circumstances)
periods in which you are being treated in a public hospital or
institution.

FINLAND.
The Finnish system of dental care
services consists of three different service options:
- Municipal dental care
Dental care is free for children from 0 to 17 years of age.
Older patients have to pay the dental care fee e accepted by
the boards of health and these fees vary
according to the exacting nature of the
task
- Private dentist reception
Patients in the private sector are mainly adults
Social Insurance Institution of Finland compensates about 40 % of these fees depending on the
services provided.
- Targeted dental care services

biggest employers
The prices of the services are very low (call at the dentists reception 6 euros)
NORWAR
oral healthcare is provided in Public Dental Service (NDS) which
provides free dental care to children up to the age of 19.
Adults over 20 years of age normally pay for their own dental
treatment.
The public dental service offers free treatment to the following
groups:
- children and young people under the age of 18 years
- people with mental disabilities
- elderly people, people with chronic illnesses and disabled
- people in prison
- Adolescents 19-20 years of age receive subsidized dental care
SWEDEN
under 20 years of age shall receive dental care and specialist
dental care.
People of 20+ years have to pay for their dental treatment
themselves.
ages of 20 and 29 receive a general subsidy in the form of a
single grant from the Swedish Social Agency of SEK 600 every
other year.
ages of 30 and 75 receive a grant of SEK 300 every other year
people over 75 receive a grant of SEK 600 every other
year.
SWEDEN
However, some people with specific illnesses,
elderly people and people with functional
disabilities, have the right to receive
reimbursements for dental treatment from the
county authorities.
Apart from providing free dental treatment for
children and young people, the county authorities
and the regions have responsibility for: oral
surgery in hospitals, dental treatment
that is part of the treatment of a disease, and
dental treatment for people who have difficulty
