    Luis Obispo graduate program, which offers 29 master programs and has the tools

    With a current national unemployment rate of 9.8 %, attaining jobs are


    difficult. Cal Poly’s unique Graduate Program can help you become more
    competitive in the workforce. With only 935 enrolled graduate students, education
    at Cal Poly is personal.

    Popular programs are under the College of Agriculture and the College of
    Engineering. These two programs are very successful for both undergraduate and
    graduate degrees at Cal Poly.

    In addition, new programs are arriving for students daily. Currently, Fire
    Protection Engineering, Disaster Management, and Homeland Security are in the
    process of becoming options for graduate students. Cal Poly also has the rare
    opportunity for a training program under Biological Sciences and Animal Sciences to
    research with stem cell technologies. Only 14 of these programs are available in
    California, Cal Poly being one of them, demonstrating its “learn by doing”
    philosophy.

    Along with rare research opportunities not available at most institutions, Cal
    Poly offers an education of lifetime for a relatively inexpensive price. Its graduate
    program will cost a student approximately $6,606 annually. A reasonable price
    when considering other graduate programs range from $20,000 to $50,000.

    Cal Poly’s Graduate Program also has an option for current undergraduate
    students in the College of Engineering known as its four plus one program. Imagine
    graduating college with not only a Bachelors degree, but a year into your masters
    as well. At Cal Poly, this is a possibility. Graduate classes are available while still
    finishing a bachelors program, a successful way to achieve more than the average
    undergraduate student.
