Bygone thoughts will thrill again,

Catch the breath and fill the eye,

Bonds of youth are hard to sever,
Bonds of love will bind forever;
Bind us fast, Phi Kappa Psi
Bind us fast, Phi Kappa Psi
Oh, bear me back again, sweet memory,
Back over this most troubled span,
Back where my boyhood days were ended
And back to where manhood be again;
Back Phi Psis to their cherished altar,
Back to that dear old mystic shrine,
Back where my lamp its light received,
That light of love almost devine.

It is now our turn to carry the torch of brotherly
love brightly lighted and held high so that it may
be passed on untarnished to the thousands who
will become brothers, that they, too, in the years
to come, may enjoy the tradition, the mysteries,
the lofty ideals and the camaraderie of Phi Kappa Psi.
Today passes only to bring forth another; the
tomorrows become the todays and, before we know
it, the todays fade into yesterdays. Those presently
in the chapters represent the todays, and,
although their span as undergraduates covers but
three or four years, it is they, supported by alumni,
who must carry on for those who will become Phi
Psis of the tomorrows.
