In context of my PhD thesis work I have been advised by my supervisor Dr. Lohitkumar
Nainegali, to make a visit to Civil Engineering Department (Geotechnical Engineering) of IIT
Kanpur. The purpose of visit is to have a glance and learn the things of the experimental setups
which are present in IIT Kanpur related to my PhD thesis and interact with research scholars to
acquire knowledge and exposure of IIT Kanpur.
The planned schedule of journey is as under:

I kindly request you to please permit me to carry out a visit to IIT Kanpur as per above schedule
and sanction me 10 days (09/05/2015 to 18/05/2015) study leave (without affecting monthly
scholarship) for the same. Moreover, I kindly request you to grant me for the expenditure to be
reimbursed from my contingency.
