Matthew Weiner, director, producer, writer and creator of AMCs Mad Men, will present the award to Reinhard. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a creative with unparalleled accomplishments and contributions to the world of advertising. As a working creative director, Reinhard was responsible for recognizable spots for McDonalds and State Farm, and led teams creating award-winning campaigns for Anheuser-Busch, Volkswagen, PepsiCo and others. Keiths legacy is one that not only includes iconic spots in advertising, but groundbreaking work in shaping the creative industry as we know it today, said Nicole Purcell, president, CLIO. His willingness to shake things up makes him a true pioneer and showcases a career we all want to emulate. In 1986 Reinhard was one of the architects of the advertising industrys first and only three-way merger, creating Omnicom, which today ranks as one of the worlds largest advertising and marketing services holding company. Concurrent with the creation of Omnicom, Reinhard accomplished the merger of Doyle Dane Bernbach and Needham Harper Worldwide to create DDB Worldwide, the agency he served as CEO for 16 years and which ranks among the worlds largest and most creative advertising networks with 200 offices in 90 countries. Many of the media and compensation concepts first enunciated by Reinhard are now common practice in the industry. He was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame in 2007. Because the CLIO Awards play such a key role in the industry I love, I feel especially honored by this recognition, said Reinhard. And I am blessed to have been involved for a lifetime in the

He contributes generously of his time and talents to a broad range of initiatives, including Sesame Workshop and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He is past chairman of Union Theological Seminary in New York and of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. Reinhard is also on the faculty and board of advisors of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership in Berlin, Germany, and a member of the steering committee of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY).
