Star of the Week! Dear First Grade Family, Next week, will be our “Star of the Week". During the week, your child will have the opportunity to tell us all about him/herself, as well as do some special jobs. We will be highlighting his/her uniqueness by doing special activities each day. Please help your child complete the attached activities, put them inside the Star of the Week bag, and have your child return the bag to school on Monday. © Please complete the Timeline. You may add photos, draw pictures, etc.... © Please complete the My Family page. Your child can either draw a picture of your family, or you can include a photograph. © Please complete the My Favorite Things page. Your child may color in the. pictures if he/she would like to. © Please complete the L Am page. Your child may write whatever they wish in the blanks. There are no rules. o Please fill the estimation jar with objects such as pennies, marbles, ‘geimmyewerims, crayons, etc. Have your child count the objects and tape the correct number inside the lid of the jar. Foob 7 © Please bring in 6-8 pictures to display on the Star of the Week bulletin board. It could be of a family vacation, your pets, friends, hobbies, etc. © Please bring 1 item in the Star of the Week bag to share each day. We can't wait to learn more about your son/daughter!
