The Medford Police Department’s Internal Affairs Division has completed its investigation of the July 26, 2015 incident relating to Officer Stephen LeBert. Mayor Michael J. McGlynn has ordered that a disciplinary hearing under G.L ¢ 31 be scheduled to determine whether Officer LeBert should be discharged, removed or suspended from his position in the Police Department. All witnesses and necessary parties are being contacted to determine their availability for the hearing. It is probable that the hearing will take place during the middle of October.
