Lesson Evaluation:
The lesson ran really well. The children were very engaged from the beginning. They
were all eager to have a go at answering questions and participate.
The weather on the day turned out to be very wet, this meant that I needed to alter
my lesson slightly as we were unable to go with the original plan. I managed to do a
modified route that kept us undercover.
If I was to do this lesson again I would be sure to take on all the advice from my
mentor teacher and be sure to position myself better when giving directions. Make
sure that I am giving clear hand signal so as not to confuse the students and have a
back up plan prepared earlier.
Over all I think that this was a great activity that involved all children and had them
all thinking about the positions that we were using.
