II. Behavioral Expectations: Each student is responsible for her/his own behavior. Our classroom
is a learning community--a refuge--treat it with kindness and respect. There is ZERO tolerance
for name-calling or bullying on the basis of physical appearance, (dis)abilities, ethnicity, race,
gender, sexuality, religion, etc. I was joking! or But hes my friend! are NOT excuses.

Classroom Guidelines- maximizing safety and learning:

1. I will be in class on time.
2. I will keep my body and objects to myself.
3. I will listen silently while Gomez and peer(s) are speaking.
4. I will use my personal technology for emergencies, to help with projects, and when it is a
reward for work completed.
5. I will keep my language free from put-downs, labels, curse words.
