DEFINITION OF TERMS
TRAFFICKING IN
PERSONS:
Refers to the:
a) recruitment,
b) transportation,
c) transfer, or
d) harboring, or
e) receipt of persons
with or without the victims consent or
knowledge,
within or across national borders
by means of:
a) threat or use of force, or other forms of coercion,
b) abduction,
c) fraud,
d) deception,
e) abuse of power or of position,
f) taking advantage of the vulnerability
of the person, or
g) the giving or receiving of payments
or benefits to achieve the consent of a
person having control of another person
