Dear Ms. Nomes,
Ref: Annual Leave Letter
I am writing this letter to request you to formalize my annual leave of four weeks that I can avail
as part of my employment with the organization. I wish to avail my leave from 21st May, 2010.
The reason for this is that I am getting married on 25th August, 2010. So I need some vacation to
set and start a new dimension of life. As a senior quality analyst I understand that I have the
responsibilities of three leading projects and I want to assure you that before going on leave I
will complete the in hand projects. I also assure you that my team members will handle rest of
the things in my absence and I will be in regular contact with them to help them at any level.
I will take the charge from 20th June, 2010 and if there will be any delay in joining then I will
confirm that a week before.
Thank you and hoping for your kind consideration.
I would like to inform your good office that I am planning to consume my annual leave privilege
on March 12-15, 2009. I am writing this letter in advance so that necessary preparations can be
made so that the flow of work will not be compromised. I am spending these days in processing
some papers with the statistics office and visiting my family that I have not visited for quite some
time. I have already informed my counterparts so that they can adjust on their work as soon as
my leave takes effect.

I hope that your good office will grant me this simple request since I need to consume this annual
leave or else it will just be forfeited. Other than that, these are the only days that I can possibly
work on my papers with the statistics office and visit my family as well. Should the need to
contact me arise, please contact me at the telephone number indicated above. Thank you.
Sincerely Yours,
