The last two readings that are on the bottom are just V1 and II for a

more longer time.

Here you label one electrode as positive and the other negative and
you measure the current between them.

Goldberger was able to add more leads to einthovens work. He would


average 2 leads and positive or negative and the third one would just
have the opposite sign.

To look at the bottom of the heart we use the inferior leads, and to look
at the side of the heart we can use the high lateral leads.

V1 and V2 are the septal leads, V3 V4 are the anterior (all of these can
also be called the anterior leads)

V5V6 are the lateral leads

To calculate the rate remember 300 150 75 60 50

Since there is a block in V1 its going to take longer therefore its bigger.
