United States of America Introduction Speech

My fellow delegates, my esteemed chairs. It is a source of pride to stand before the

assembly today and talk about issues that not only affect our individual countries,
but the world as a whole. The United States has suffered a long and tumultuous
series of disturbances across the country relating to unlawful African-American
deaths; the Baltimore Protests and Ferguson Riots. Racism is a prominent issue that
has existed almost since the founding of the United States and has afflicted this
great nation ever since, existing since the Atlantic Slave Trade. Even with the work
of great civil activists and improving rights and recognition of minorities, these
problems still plague the United States today. Our founding fathers realized the
importance of equality; We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable
Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. And the
United States strives to uphold equality and freedom amongst all. Thank you
delegates.

South Africa Apartheid has ended, but the issue has not. For example,
2008 May Riots regarding racism and citizenship in South Africa April 2015,
attacks on immigrants and foreigners, killing 7 Ethiopian, Mozambique,
Zimbabwe, etc
