Digital Storytelling

A Fairy Tale
A digital story is a visual, digital representation of a story that the creator of the media wishes to
tell. Digital storytelling comes in many different modalities, from film to audio/visual to still
frame (pictures).
It is the last one that we are going to be focused on.
For this assignment, you are going to be taking a beloved fairy tale (of your own choosing), and
create a still frame slideshow telling that story. The trick to this one is that there are going to be
NO CHARACTERS in the slideshow, and you must take all of the pictures used.
This is going to take both planning and creativity, because you are going to show this slideshow
to the rest of the class, it a) it should be evident which fairy tale you are representing, b) be clear
in the choice of pictures, and c) follow the logical path to conclusion.
EXPECTATIONS:
- The very first slide is the title slide (your name & the name of the fairy tale)
- You must have a minimum of 15 pictures, maximum 15 pictures
- There will be NO characters in the frames
- Be creative and plan your story well
