Hello everyone.

I am going to start talking about some points against the

statement of the presentation. As you know, nowadays globalization affects
almost everything: from education to business, including communications,
jobs, culture and a long etc. It is defined as the process of international
integration arising from the interchange of world views, products, ideas and
other aspects of culture. Therefore, we believe that people are being pushed
to reinforce intercultural relationships in order to adapt to this worldwide
phenomenon. For this reason, we shouldnt be talking about the statement
of this presentation as a choice, due to the fact that, in some way,
globalization has created the necessity of learning to function in an
intercultural environment. This makes the statement no longer an option.
As an example of globalization, we want to talk about ITER, a project which,
as you already know, shows how intercultural projects are developed, and at
the same time how people can learn to function in a multicultural and
globalized world. Hence, people who are part of this program are good
examples of adaptation and improvement. As my teammates are going to
explain in a few moments, different strategies should be implemented in
order to improve people intercultural skills. The important point is that
globalization is the engine for change, and is creating a worldwide culture
where people must learn to function together.
