Perspective

A family of boxes
holding hands
make up the everyday train.
At the very end, a jaded box
who holds no hand.

The box saw a rockstar and a nun enter,

a policeman who missed the bus
and a loud foreigner
with several bags who falls. The box laughs
in its heart of gears
Feeling the oil battle the growing rust
And seeing like a blind man for the first time.

Autumn

In the nursing home, I count

the minutes till the children come.

Because when knees are locked
like folding chairs from last year's summer
and eyes like winter's last breath
there's nothing else to do but
wait.

They come. surrounding me with spring.

Still they fail
to distract me
from the thought
of winter.

Yay super saya magtype dito sa aking brand-new laptop! Remember the date bits, April
7th of 2014 :) Super happy!! I know that there will come a time na I will forget this
happiness, this wonder just like the way I am getting used to my routine in the university.
Pero hindi eh. I always tell myself: remember the wonder! Remember why you started,
why you decided to be here, get this laptop in the first place. Hihi chos. Anyway, thank
you Mama and Dadi for making this possible :) I got my laptop na (even though it's not a
Mac or 70K worth of laptop, it's still pretty awesome. I'm still working out some things
though hehe newbie. :> Thank you Lord! Thank you Asus :>
