README

1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows:
Windows 98SE, NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 6), 2000, ME, XP
PentiumII 300 MHz or faster, 100 MB free hard disk space, 640 x 480 - thousands o
f
colors (millions recommended), SoundBlaster-compatible sound card, 12x CDROM or
higher.
Note: An Internet connection is required for the web features of the program.
Macintosh:
Macintosh OS 8.6, OS 9.1, 9.2 OS 10.1.5, 10.2.3, 10.2.8, 10.3.2
400 MHz Power PC, G3, G4 or faster, 110 MB free hard disk space, 640 x 480 thousands of colors (millions recommended), 12x CDROM or higher.
Note: an Internet connection is required for the web features of the program.

2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Windows:
(1)
Exit out of all open applications; make sure you have no applications ru
nning.
(2)
Insert the Internet-based TOEFL CD into your CDROM drive. The installati
on window
opens automatically if Autorun is enabled on your system.
(3)
If you have Autorun disabled on your system, from the Start Menu, choose
Run
and type (or browse for) d:\setup.exe (where d: is your CDROM drive).
(4)
Press OK and follow the prompts.
(5)
You are now ready to use the software. You must have the CDROM in your
computer when using the software, even though you have in installed information
on your hard drive. To launch the program, go to the Start Menu, choose
Programs, then Kaplan and then Internet-based TOEFL.
Macintosh:
(1)
Exit out of all open applications; make sure you have no applications ru
nning.
(2)
Insert the Internet-based TOEFL CD into your CDROM drive
(3)
Double-click the Kaplan install icon.
(4)
You will be presented with a dialog box that will let you choose where t
o install
the program. Follow the prompts.
(5)
You are now ready to use the software. You must have the CDROM in your
computer when using the software, even though you have in installed information
on your hard drive. To launch the program, double-click the Internet-based TOEFL
icon.
