Field Trip Letter

Dear Parent or Guardian:

This month, your childs class will be taking a field trip to Coal Mine Exhibition in Beckley, WV as part of
the current unit being studied in class. While it is hoped all students will participate in the field trip,
parent/guardian permission must be granted.
The field trip will take place on Friday, December 5th, 2014, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Transportation to
and from the field trip will be provided and students will be returned to school in time to catch the afternoon
bus home from school. The cost to attend the field trip is
$ 8.50 and students will need to bring lunch money or get a cold lunch packed at home or school.
If you are willing to permit your child to attend the field trip, please fill out the consent form below this letter
and return it by December 2, 2014. If you are not willing to grant permission for the field trip, please notify
Mrs. Bryant or Mrs. Snedegar in writing by the aforementioned date.
