Job Description
Amazon is seeking data-driven, business-minded, results-oriented Financial Analyst interns to work in
our corporate offices in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with strong
attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to dive deep.
Typical responsibilities include:

Preparation and reporting of financial performance for weekly, monthly, and annual reviews
Producing meaningful operational metrics to help drive performance and achieve business
objectives.
Apply financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on growth,
profitability, capital investment, and cash flow

Part of the internship program is an intern project, which requires the candidate to flex their finance,
accounting, analytical, and business acumen to work on optimizing and driving quality to solve a
problem or improve an existing process. The intern will have the opportunity to network and interact
with strong leaders and developers of people throughout the Finance organization.
Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, information systems,

accounting or related field.
Available to work a minimum of 40 hours/week during the 6-month internship

Dates of Finance Undergraduate Internships:

December to June
June to December

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of basic business and accounting concepts, and a working knowledge of Excel
Solid organizational and project-management skills
Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
Strong desire to exceed expectations
A practical and creative approach to problem solving
Ability to summarize and communicate important data
Commitment to self-development
