On Saturday, 19th September in an important Premier League game week 6 clash

between Chelsea and Arsenal, Chelsea and Spanish international forward Diego
Costa was involved in an ugly incident on Saturday in a match between Chelsea and
Arsenal. Chelsea defeated Arsenal 2-0 as the Gunners were down to 9 men in the
match.
The Saturday match witnessed a nasty incident on the pitch where Diego Costa was
indulged in a fight with Arsenal men Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel Paulista. The
Brazilian born Spanish striker even successfully convinced the referee Mike Dean to
flash a red card at Paulista.
Diego Costa initially slapped Laurent Koscielny during a tussle inside the penalty
box. Gabriel Paulista came as a mediator to stop the fight but was eventually
involved in it.
Paulista cunningly tried to stamp on Diego Costa's feet which Mike Dean saw. He
immediately showed the red card and sent off the Brazilian central defender.
The official statement from FA read: An FA charge against Diego Costa for violent
conduct not seen by the match officials but caught on video has been found
proven following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
The Chelsea forward will, therefore, serve the standard penalty of a threematch suspension with immediate effect.
The charge, which the player denied, was in relation to an incident involving
Arsenals Laurent Koscielny in the 43rd minute of the game on Saturday [19
September 2015].

This is not the first time Diego Costa went against the spirit of the game. He has
been involved in several rows in the past with many opponents but had successfully
got of the debacle.
But this time, justice has finally being delivered as Costa has been punished harshly
by English governing body.

Jose Mourinho had supported his striker after the match and said that for him Costa
was the man of the match and he did the right thing. In post match interview his team
mate and Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma had mentioned that even though he
supported Costa, he revealed that the striker 'loves to cheat'.
Arsene Wenger was furious after the match with how the situation went against his
side. He had also urged the FA to investigate the matter.
