Left Margin: 3.8 cm / 1.5 inch
Top, Bottom and Right Margin: 2.5 cm / 1 inch
Header and Footer: 1.25 cm / 1 inch
*These specifications are applicable to the printed output, thus margins in the
page setup should be adjusted accordingly.

SPACING
Text should be double spaced. The following however should be single spaced:
Explanatory footnotes (if absolutely necessary)
Quotations longer than three lines
Bibliography (except between entries)
Appendices
Slightly long headings or subheadings

BINDING
When the report is completed after making the necessary changes suggested
during the viva and grammatical check, it is ready for binding. Please check all
copies carefully to ensure that the pages are in order. A spiral bound copy shall
be submitted to the Advisor and to the Second Examiner. One hard cover and CD
shall be submitted to the Practical Training Coordinator (Library). Please pay
attention to the following particulars:

All lettering should be in gold blocking font 18
c. Colour
Marketing (BM220) Maroon

a. The report shall be 30-40 pages or 6,000-8,000 words (excluding appendices
and references)
b. Rough guide on contents:
Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION (10 pages)
Chapter 2 LITERATURE REVIEW (15-20 pages)
Chapter 3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY (5 pages)
Chapter 4 FINDINGS (20 pages)
Chapter 5 CONCLUSION (5 pages)
c. Plagiarism is a serious offence. Any student caught of such misconduct will
automatically get a failing grade.
d. Please comply to the deadlines set especially submission of the final draft or
else the student will not be permitted to present the report (VIVA).
