Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,

I am writing this letter to ensure my graduation in June 2016. I plan on pursuing a career
in Sports Medicine after high school. I am confident my experiences and lessons here at
Buckingham have prepared me for the real world experiences that I will face after high
school.
Over the course of the last four years Ive spent here at Buckingham, I have learned how
to write a five-paragraph essay, use certain computer programs such as Photoshop,
PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and make friendships that will last a lifetime. I have also
spent two years in the Leadership class here at Buckingham, which has taught me
leadership skills that will be very resourceful to me post-graduation. I have taken four
years of high school level Spanish, ending with AP Spanish. Over my high school career,
I have maintained a 3.4 GPA and have been steadily improving my grades over the years.
During my years attending Buckingham, I have played baseball and basketball and have
learned important lessons and teamwork skills that will assist me in life to come.
After high school, I hope to go to a four-year university and hope to pursue a degree in
Sports Medicine. I have learned to be a very hardworking young man and have changed
for the better over the years. I know I will be ready to become a successful employee in
whatever career I fall into.
I anticipate the approval of my senior portfolio and thank you for the time taken to
consider each aspect of the portfolio and whether I have met the requirements to earn my
diploma and graduate from Buckingham. I look forward to my bright future after
graduation from Buckingham Charter Magnet High School.
