STAR OF THE WEEK
CARTER HANES was this weeks STAR.
Some of CARTERS things he brought to
share with the class were a framed picture
from Offutt Air Force Base, a football and a
baseball bat and ball. Carters favorite sport is
football, his favorite food is spaghetti, and his
favorite holiday is Halloween. Carter shared
frosted cookies with his class as he read aloud
the book, Hot Rod Hamster. Some day
Carter wants to be an Air Force pilot!

CLASSROOM HAPPENINGS!
Next week we will begin reading
the novel Sarah, Plain and Tall,
by Patricia McCloghlin. The
vocabulary and spelling words
for Sept. 25th are words from
the novel. We will be making an
interactive lap book to go along
with our story.
