Today in my lesson we did mouthpiece exercises, and trying to focus on

what sound I want. We also talked about tonguing and trying to find flow
with the keys and my fingers, as well as rhythm exercises. I have noticed
that I am now able to get to a lower pitch on the mouthpiece, and am really
trying to imagine what I desire to sound like. I've also noticed that the
current way I am pressing my keys down is very inefficient, and I am
buckling my knuckles. I'm going to work on my placement of my fingers,
and as Dr. Schlomer has said, to not let the conscious mind take over. I'm
also going to work on my rhythms, and not imagine time a specific points.
To try an imagine it all as one, and to really connect time.
