Today Dr.

Schlomer and I started with mouthpiece exercises, and I found the

pathway from my lungs to the air excitement. It really helped with imaging
the note that I want to come out, and what I want it to sound like. My
favorite part of the lesson was playing chords from the C# major scale. I
realized how easy it really is to view chords, and with my piano background
it makes it that much easier. I have a very strong feeling that this skill of
being able to view the chords in my head will be very useful. Within the
next week, I am going to apply the new exercises that we discussed to the
Virtuosity warm up, and will also be working on the Eccles Sonata for my
performance on the 12th.
