On 04-30-15, Bermudez was asked to come into American Apparel's Human Resources office. During this visit to the Human Resources office, the company confronted Bermudez about the union emaiis she had sent. The company vocalized its concerns about the emalls and asked Bermudez why she sent out the emails. Bermudez continued to send concerted activity messages to American Apparel employees up tothe frst week of August. On or about August 8, 2015, Bermudez was terminated from her employment with American Apparel.
