Clinging corpses

Looking out through the sun beams

Youre hoping to fade the screams
Day light massacres painful dreams
You pray from beneath the sheets

Muscles ripple through slashed jeans

Today anew, finished are your teens
Shadows make strange figurines
A fresh dawn but the trauma reigns

Yearning for some love vaccines

Until yesterday you were nineteen
Now youth has crept into your veins
Memories stubborn as strength drains

Nightmares like beasts in chains

Cling to you through everyday
You flee from lurid thoughts in vain
But clinging corpses, they remain
