The Word-Picture
Mom shows me a picture that she had seen on news. It was an image of a
little boy in red T-shirt and short blue jean is laying at the edge of shore in
unconsciousness state, and unable to contemplate the beauty of sunset.
Moreover, waves keep rolling toward his direction. It is getting dark soon, he
needs someone to wake him up then bring him to a warm place before the night
appears bring out the coldness with salt in the air will cause pain for his tiny and
weekly body. Then, he will die by lacking of warmness.
By looking at a picture, it keeps making me reflect what if my cousin or my
little brother is laying down in that place, and how heartless and ignorant of
human being. However, I felt extremely terrible as the coldness of humans heart
is attacking me in the mid of summer with 40 Celsius. I wonder how people able
to take picture instead of run to a boy and save him first. The image fits with our
progression because it can be analyze humans awareness and responsibility in
choosing what more matter, and it will show how scary of the world we are living.
