Instructions
In your workbook, write a critical analysis of your story structure for one of
your story writing exercises. Use the following questions as a guideline for
discussing your work and be sure to include specific examples to support your
responses.
1. Summarize the premise and plot of your story.
2. How did your characters personality affect the plot?
3. Outline the three parts of your story structure and explain what
happens in the beginning, middle and end of your story.
How do the premise and plot elements get developed?
What happens to add further developments during the story?
How is the story premise resolved?
4. What connections did you create between the plot premise, the
characters and the resolution of the story that help tie them all together
into a well-structured story?
