• scarves, ribbons, bells, musical
instruments, or something to use
during music time
Activity:
• Take time at some point to enjoy
God through music! Sing, dance,
and praise God because He is good!
Bible Verse
Supplies:
• Bible Verse: Psalm 119:105
• Flashlight
Activity:
• Choose someone to close their eyes.
Hide the Bible Verse in the classroom
while their eyes are closed.
• Use a flashlight to slowly trace on the
floor a path that they should walk on,
eventually leading them to the location
of the hidden card.
• Repeat activity with other children.
• Discuss:
How did the flashlight help you?
Where did the flashlight lead you?
God’s Word, the bible, is like a light
because it shows us the path to follow and
the very best way to live. The things we
learn in the Bible help us know how to love
and obey God.
Game: Best-Way Relay
Supplies:
• Seeds
• Paper plates
Activity:
• Have the kids find the best way to
move seeds across the room by using
the plate as a fan.
• Split the kids into two teams and
have them have a relay race moving
the seeds across the room.
• Discuss:
What was the best way you
found to move the seeds?

important choices about the best
way to live.
Seed picture
Supplies:
• Seeds
• Glue
• Paper with “Bible” written on it
Activity:
• Trace “Bible” with glue.
• Let students place seeds on the glue.
• Discuss that in this parable, Jesus
said that the seeds that the farmer
planted were like the Word of God.
Game: “Seeds” Memory
Supplies:
• 8 different kinds of seed packets
Activity:
• Place all the cards upside down on
the floor.
• Each child tries to make a match. If
a child makes a match, they find the
scripture in the Bible and read it out
loud. (If they are very young, they
can just repeat after you!) Then they
get to have another turn.
* You can also play “Go Fish” with these cards!

Plant a seed
Supplies included:
• Lima beans
• Ziploc bags
• Moist cotton balls
Activity:
• Let the kids place the lima beans and
moist cotton balls in the Ziploc bag
with their name on it.
• Tape the bag to a window and watch
them grow!!!
