- "Baba Dochia" day , the first day of Babele, is
celebrated by people to be protected from
storms and cold spring and as not to damage
the fields
- Days of "Babele"are very changeable, with
snow, rain, wind, sleet, snow storm or sunny
weather. The tradition is that women and men
to choose one days - which it mentioned in the

year, to protect cattle from disease.

a deity and mother of fertility in the pantheon
of Romanian mythology.
