S81-MOD-AI020: 4-20mA input adressable module

Description
This module allows monitoring of 4-20mA type analog signals. It is provided with two extractable terminal boards. One is a 5-pole
terminal for connecting the communication bus and one is an 8-pole terminal for connecting the feeder and the transductor.
There are 4 LEDs installed on the front part of the module performing the following functions:
Led Polling:
It starts blinking whenever the control card interrogates.
Led Prealarm: It lights up when input tension exceeds the pre-alarm threshold.
Led Alarm:
It lights up when input tension exceeds the alarm threshold.
Led Fault:
It lights up when input tension is lower than 3mA.
For each analog module of the S81-Mod-AI020 type two alarm thresholds can be programmed on the monitoring central with the
following measurement ranges:

Assembling
The module is to be assembled onto a DIN bar inside a cabinet or inside a junction box provided with mechanical protection
which fits the assembling environment. Do not install the module outdoor.
Address programming
For proper functioning it is necessary to give to the module an address included between 1 and 127 by using the relative
programmer. To set the address, follow these directions:
- Connect the extractable 5-pole terminal of the programmer to the module to be programmed.
- Press the left grey key on the programmer. The 3-digit display will show the module address.
- Set the required address by pressing the two grey keys.
- Press the red key to start the address programming.
- Press the right grey key on the programmer to turn it off.
- Disconnect the programmer from the module.
- With a permanent marker write the programmed address on the white label which is present on the module.
