Laptop Take Home Parent Information Meeting

Purpose of Meeting
This meeting is intended to be a
sharing of information, as well as a
place to ask questions, brainstorm
strategies, and find ways to work
together to be sure our children are
educated users of technology.

Why?
Taking home the laptop allows our ES students
equitable access at home and at school so each
student can more easily extend their learning beyond
the classroom. As we prepare our students to be
lifelong learners this tool promotes communication
and collaboration, allows our students to easily access
new information, and create knowledge in a variety
of ways through the use of media-rich projects.

Why?
While the children are still in the elementary
school with one classroom teacher, we can
use this opportunity to partner together to
guide our children as they learn to
effectively manage technology and become
contributing digital citizens. We
understand the kids might make mistakes we are here as a team to help them learn.
