Landlady of my time
Hi Ruben,
Sorry, I have been so busy and I havent been able to write you sooner, but I
have to give good news. In spite of my nervousness all these months, I have
got a job!
You know, it has been crazy with many interviews and exams with different
people until two weeks ago. Last week, I started working and now I have
been looking for a flat where to live, because I have stayed at Philips house
but, as you know he is living with his children and I dont want to bother
them anymore.
A colleague told me that many workers used a noticeboard to advertise
different things, so I decided to have a glance at it and I found an interesting
advertisement, where a person was offering an empty room in his flat. At
first sight, it seemed to be a good option because it was situated fifteen
minutes walking far from the office, I made an appointment with him by
email and I am sure that you couldn't imagine what happened. Surprisingly,
she was one of my bosses!
Now I am very confused, I dont know what to do, because she is very
sensible and strict at work, but in her house, shes a good laugh and a
people person. I think it isnt a good idea to spend twenty four hours a day
with your boss working and living together shes crazy, last weekend was
full whoopee and you know I get into my weekends sleeping all day - what
do you think?
Well, I took the room, because this is a nice place near the office and the
rent he is asking for is only three hundred dolars!
