‘There are too many other surnames to mention here. The surnames with the most group of fam ‘STANBRIDGE RIDGE CEMETERY / COREY CEMETERY
In the 1830's Caleb Corey, Sr. established the Corey Cemetery in Stanbridge Station, Quebec. The site was used until 1945
for burial of his family and their descendants.
Unfortunetly, a neighbouring mining operation, neglect and vandalism over the years called for the relocation of the cemetery.
In 1995, the Corey Cemetery was relocated to the Ridge Cemetery in Stanbridge East, Quebec. This new site was chosen to
preserve historical familial inks with Corey family members buried in the Ridge Cemetery.
‘The relocation of the Corey Cemetery was made possible by the combined efforts of the Missisquoi Historical Society, The
‘The Ridge Cemetery Committee and Bedford Limestone Products inc.
