ThedevelopmentofthelatestversionoftheExposureFactorsHandbook(EFH):2011Edition(EPA/600/R09/052F)hasmaintainedtheneedforamorecomprehensive
programthataddressesissuesrelatedtoexposurefactors.SincethefirstversionoftheEFHwasreleasedin1997,theneedforthemostuptodateandaccuratedataon
exposurefactorsusedinassessingexposuretocontaminantsintheenvironmentisofhighprioritytoexposureassessorsthroughouttheU.S.Thecompletionofthe2011
editionoftheExposureFactorsHandbookhasonlybeenthefirststepinfulfillingthisneed.Manydataneedshavebeenidentifiedandfollowupresearchisunderwayto
addresssomeofthedatagaps.Thiswebpageisintendedtoprovidea"onestopshop"wherethemostcurrentinformationanddataonexposurefactorscanbefound.
