CAS Stages complete questions below:
1) Investigation - what are your goals for this CAS experience?
To get better at serving the ball. To gain better control of bumping the ball. To be able to
control placement of flicks for spikes.
2) Preparation briefly identify your plan of action and include an approximate
timeline.
Attend weekly practices everyday after school. There are two seasons for volleyball
there is the regular season and then the play off which start about 3 to 4 weeks after the
regular season has started.
3) Action - how will you accomplish your goals? Who will be involved?
By practicing with the team everyday after school for and hour and a half and then
playing the games where I can incorporate the skills I had been practicing.
4) Reflection - what were your expectations? What did you hope to gain from this
experience? What did you learn? What are your next steps? How are the Learner
Profile attributes incorporated?
I was expecting my skills in the game to grow and to become an overall better player of
volleyball, I hope to gain friend ships with my fellow teammates, which I did. I learnt that
in volleyball if you do not communicate with your teammates you can easily lose a game
in a matter or minutes. My next steps are to continue working on my skills so that for
next year I will be ready for the season.

5) Demonstration what evidence will you use to show you have completed your
goals?
Pictures of the team and shoots of the team playing a game.
