Abstract
What aspects of music allow us to perceive it with all of our senses? How is it that we
can analyze music based on how it makes us feel? I will be researching scientific and audio
technology resources to discover what is known of these sensual perceptions. I also hope to
discover whether or not there are commonalities to different aspects of sound. If common
correlations are found, it could allow for the development of techniques that speed up
isomorphic mapping and other important critical listening techniques because a person would
be using multiple senses to analyze, likely aiding in faster and more accurate identificaiton.
