BPAnnihilation

Did you know that we release 500 tons of BPA into the US environment every
year. Thats equal to 71 Elephants. BPA is a hormone disrupting chemical that correlates
with reproductive abnormalities. 93 percent of the general population have some BPA
in their bodies. Although it does not cause cancer, it is still known to cause birth defects
and diabetes.
So how do we get this in our systems? We absorb it through plastic
containers, water bottles, and also things that you might not expect like; receipts, the
linings of cans, toilet paper of all things, and worldwide currency. When we are exposed
to all of these objects then we are exposing ourselves to more and more BPA. If you
think you are safe then you are wrong, because BPA is almost everywhere. It also
leaks into food, drink, and other things when the object that has BPA in it is heated up.
We can prevent this from happening by annihilating BPA all together. You can do
this by stop using plastic water bottles and by going to your local government to
propose a ban on BPA. If we do this then we can prevent further birth defects like ADHD
and prevent other cases like diabetes. Canada has already done this and so have many
US states. So if this action gets put into play than we will be one step closer to stopping
these birth defects and abnormalities.
